good stuff last night . that comeback on domination was crazy, and getting that win on HQ with only four guys was killer. we were all laying it down!

I was happy we were playing sabotage. No need to talk about our strategies on the forum here, we'll talk about it during the pre-game. But I do I want to say what we figured out does work and we need to continue using it.

yeah I had a fun time on ambush and went to one of my hiding spots and only died 4 time. its a great sniping spot bit I had an assult rifle bit I did alright.

Cover and Consealment.

Before we go into that. We need to understand how one gets killed. The steps are a follow.

1.Locate
2.Identify
3.Aim
4.Shoot

If you disrupt or prevent any one of those steps you can avoid death.

Cover and consealment is the basis for avoidance, it either prevents you from being seen or being shot. If you were shot and killed then you did not have cover or consealment. If you were wounded then you were able to obtain cover. Cover blocks bullet penetration and Consealment block visual identification.

This has to be second nature to you even under fire. You have to be able to think cover and consealment while you are attacking or defending.

It has to be like sex. You are hitting it and thinking about what your are doing at the same time, mean while you are setting up for the next position.

So remember if you got killed, it's becasue the other guy saw you first.

If a guy shot and missed you have to make him start the process all over again (Locate). If you stay in the same position then still has steps 1. and 2.

I'm learning and applying this as I go too.

the problem is kill cams and radar. in a non-hardcore game you really can't hide yourself mostly b/c of the kill cam.
we can try it though and really slowing the pace down . that would mean everybody using UAV jammer and silencers

 

its a bit harder to kill with the silencer on

 

It's a frame of mind that gives you awareness. This awarness will add to your abilities to use the tools effectively.

For example after I started think like this I find myself paying attention to their UAV. When it's up for them they can see you. They can track you. Lead them and when its off, dart in another direction to lose them.

Also you can help your team mates. If their UAV is up and you have one call it, in essence you are providing support to your team mates. All of this links together but it is your mindset that allows you to react and play better.

 

I hear what you saying about the pace, but in crossfire when we had planted the bomb we all were in the star formation around the target, they attacked but if one of us missed the other would take him.

It is about control in chaos. We slow it down to learn but after awhile you start to move at a faster pace but default.

 

would it work for the people that do camp to rotate after each kill?
