For comparison, this is my pace
For Firecracker Mar 2008 (6.1 miles): My time is around 1:04:44 with 10:19 pace
For Nike Women's Marathon Oct 2008 (26.2 miles): My Pace is 12:11
Mr Hey 1 on the otherhand, finished the firecracker run in 47:05 with 7:36 pace
I'll try to beat my time if I feel good. If not there is always next year.
Hey John are you going to do the firecracker?
Just go at the pace that you are comfortable with. Who know maybe you are vella fast. We'll see in a month
i quit on 1/4/09. last week was rough, got irritated easily. but- haven't cheated since though it's crossed my mind plenty of times.
another thing is i also quit drinking in the meantime until my cig cravings do go away for good. maybe i'll just stay sober for good. guess i'll just have to find other ways to relieve stress and relax.
i quit smoking the beginning of 2008 for 2 months, then went to vegas in feb and it was game over. i guess the real test will be my next vegas trip...

Don't worry, you just gotta keep trying. Since I started I've cheated quite a few times since I started and I'll be big enough to admit it
. However, I am still hanging on to the bus for dear life.
I must say, that It does help at home when everyone has decided to not smoke and support each other as much as possible. Medication helps, which I'm on, but I'm not sure if that's the route you want to take.
All in all, I think the best thing is having a support system along side a quitting program..
You can do it
