LOL i know ping is cause by gas combusting at incorrect timing.
but i thought that there would also be other components contributing to incorrect timing.
esp when you are NOT highly modded.

well i think i resolve the P420 cel issue so far..
hopefully with combination of running 100 octane at the track.. everything should be ok.

Why don't you just play it safe get it tuned, or at least a generic Ca. cobb map.

most likely i'll be getting Cobb AP so i can at least run their generic stage 2 fuel map to help correct the OL/CL issue and a little better mapping running catless.

the ecu should back timing down
