They "visually failed" my car due to having an open air filter "Blitz SUS". But I passed everything. Now they want me to put in the old box which I don't have anymore and too lazy to look for one at a junkyard.

why dont you just ask a member or a friend with a wrx to lend you his airbox. will probably save u time and money.
