its a different company that makes the ones with electric motor, they just use the atom body.
It's a company up north called Wrightspeed. The owner's a pretty bright guy (not to mention wealthy), but he's taken a lot of credit for the Atom chassis.

That race was a joke. It was only about half of the drag strip, if that, and they did a rolling start. I'm sure these things were done to favor the Wrightspeed, and otherwise the Porsche would've been gone.

In my opinion, the only thing that makes the Wrightspeed any good or that gives it any publicity, is the fact that it employs an Atom chassis. If it weren't for Ariel's body, that Wrightspeed vehicle would be another electric car - crap.

Either way, 11.1s and 112mph for the Electric Atom, 10.8s and 124mph for the Petrol Atom.

Petrol FTW.
