... Screw the Ariel Atom or the T-Rex, I want the T1!

2.4L V8 outputting 480bhp, pushing 465 kgs around the street, 3G cornering and braking, for 150,000 UKP... and it's to be street legal...

Built by a team of engineers who were part of the elite team that designed and developed the iconic McLaren F1, the T1’s 1,000bhp/tonne power-to-weight ratio will offer 3g cornering, and braking and acceleration performance approaching that of a Formula One car.
i think that alone can sell for $200,000. and it's going to be road legally. good lord!!!

i can't wait until top gear gets their hand on one of these bad boys. imagine what lap time the stig is gonna put up.

twice the power to weight of the Atom, that's gonna cost more for sure, but the ability to spank F-1 cars at the 'ring is bound to find enough interest to make it a viable proposition.

If I could afford the T-1 I could have an atom or two in the garage anyway...

Let's see how it handles and performs before we give it god status.

3G cornering and 1000bhp/tonne pretty much relegates it to diety status already, in my book anyway

LMAO!

the only problem.....is this car will handle so well, that you probably wont be able to lose control in order to "kill yourself." It will just keep on gripping the above mentioned racetrack, until your face is permanently deformed. LOL

I'm still floored by the 2.4L F1-spec V8 being able to put out 480bhp... that's phenomenal for such a small engine. My guess is turbo, running a lot of boost.. possibly twin-charged, for low-end power.

Can you imagine what 3Gs of lateral grip feels like? That's like driving the Lamborghini from .. AUTOMAN!
