i remember the days i had to worry about the cop. Now i dont even need the radar detector anymore cuz my roomate/bestfriend is a Torrance Police Officer and i hire cops for offduty work so i know cops all over the USA and especially the ones in so cal . MY friend put my plates in their system to come up confidential meaning if they run my suby plates,it will tell them that i am close friends of a cop and leave me alone,haha. My friend told me what cops are looking for when pulling over import drivers. Rules are followed
1. Never fear a cop on the road. Always maintain driving speed EVEN if u r going 2-3 mph over the speedlimit cuz the moment they notice u slowing down because of them,then they will know u r guilty of something.
2.If a cop pulls you over and asked to check under your hood,that is not an optional question anymore. Always admit to your mods and take the penalty cuz if u dont give them permission to search your car then thats an instant search warrant cuz u would be guilty by saying no and then if they did find something,they impound your vehicle rather than a little fix it ticket. and NEVER give a cop attitude. Believe or not,cops are alot more powerful than you are and carry much more power so be polite,admit to what is true. Try not to seem nervous. My friend pulled over a subaru girl the other day and let her girl cuz she was polite and honest (or smokin hot, hehe) and then another guy had a 500 hp supra and was an *** and he had the kid catch a bus and impounded the car and put a HEFTY price to get it out.

Correct me if I am wrong, but did you just say that if you do not let a cop search your car that is admiting guilt and therefore he can get a warrant? It is my right to not let a cop search my car. That does not mean I am guilty and it is not grounds for a warrant.

 

Yes,actually thats how it used to be but with the incline of more and more fixed up cars. there r loop holes around anything. For instance,if you say no to searching the car, Then the cop will get u on something else illegal on your car to search under the hood. you can disagree all u want but since i live with a cop and i read the cop handbook of 2004 car laws. Its quite funny thats cops dont pull everyone over. I meani am not sure where to begin but did u know a cop can pull u over and right u a ticket cuz there r several things illegal with cars that even roll off the lot brand new. Did u know that any tint on a window not stock,is illegal,a license plate frame has to be 1 foot from the ground so if a car is lifted or lowered,thats illegal. i mean i can go on and on. Cops have several reasons to make any car illegal so saying no is just going to make them pull some dumbass thing out of their book and then give themselve a search warrant. Sad but true cuz i read the book.
