everything has been changed out. Dumped the fuel, all parts have been replaced, pump, injectors, filter.

The system is getting fuel and healthy spark, but not turning over.

 

the only thing i can cme up with is the coil packs got switched around

 

I matched them up injector to coil pack signal


I dunno maybe too much TDM juice?

 

when i doubt use the TDM hammer


the compression is good right? what did it read?

 

my concerns are compression, timing, and electronic.

I'm going to change out the oil today to check for metal.
I cleaned the cam angle and crank sensor. Going to check the wiring that i extended for the cam angle sensor is good.
check wiring harness from left to side again.
reflash ecu back to stock
and try again

 

changed the oil.
Cut open the oil filter and there is copper color containment in the filter.
maybe i blew the rod bearing.
lead? bits of the motor? there is no big crunk just like a copper dust.
try to relocate some the the ground wire.
flash ecu back to stock setting.
still no good
i can't get the motor to fire.
looks like i'm at the end of the line of all that i can do.

sigh....

 

compression test it yet?

06/19 Update - I will no longer be able to attend the July speed trial due to the motor issue. (franco i already sent email to tommy to hold my credit for next time)
I'll be visiting garage tuning tomorrow to talk about the motor rebuild.
More information will be updated as plans are finalized.
