The BEST way is NOT to do it!! Leave those sweet wheels alone!! j/k if you really still wanna change the color (thought you would've done it by now, since you did mention it a LOOONG time ago!) j/k, again...anyways, if you want to do it right the first time, have the wheels powdercoated.
A professional paint job will hold up well too, but powdercoating is more durable in the long run. Check out MagMasters in Santa Ana or look in the phone book for other powdercoating places (look under chrome polishing or metal finishing)
Good luck and post some pics when you get them done!

Go ahead an coat those wheels mine are coated YELLOW on my blue rex get a lot of looks some like it some like this old man one day said they were ulgy,I told him thats all right your old thats what you are spose to think.Silver and crome are played! Coat those wheels you drive it they don't!
