yeah AAA works. if you dont have AAA good luck tho.
67 in a 65 geez i dont know how that could happen. i would have fought that one. usually cops dont give tickets unless your doing over 5mph. i hear cuz its due to the calibration of the radar guns. they give a 5mph cushion. thats what one of my friends told me who happens to be a motorcycle cop(ticket writer).

a cop can write you up on the freeway for going over the max speed, even if it's two miles an hour over. however, if you get pulled over in a business district the fine is for unsafe speed not breaking the "max speed". if you can prove that your speed was indeed safe (i.e. no traffic, early morning) you have a good chance of fighting the ticket. regardless, getting nailed for 67 in a 65 is just plain stupid, i would have been pissed.

I got a story for you .
Coming back from the suby specialties shop
I was about to get on the freeway It was hard for me to drive cause I had a pinched nerve in my neck . Well I was focused on the pain and just wanted to get home so I went through a yellow light it only turned red after I was on the other side of the intersection. As I waited listening to Initial D I noticed a cop riiiight behind me none of his lights were on and so I thought nothing of it but when the light turned green, the lights came on.
I have been pulled over a lot! So it was nothing to me but this guy was a complete and total ***! First words out of his mouth were " Is this your boyfriends car?"
No I said its mine .
"how long have you had this car cause you dont really seem like you know how to drive it "
I told him, I have had this car less than a year and drive the streets of willow all the time I know more about this car than the dealer who sold it to me!
Then he told me the reason he pulled me over was cause he heard my egaust and it sounded a bit loud when I shifted and so he did the I gotta see if you have ilegal mods inspection on my car gig. He didnt find a thing and I told him if it seemed I was driving funny that I have a pinched nerve his comeback was " oh I have one too you should go get accupuncture done then you can drive better.
Well after all of that he gave me a ticket wich he and I argued over it for 20 min. as how it was NOT a red light it was yellow ! But I guess cause he didnt find anything wrong with my egaust he had to give me a ticket for some thing.........Bastard I am gonna fight this one! I didnt run a redlight damnit!

I got a ticket recently (it's cheap but I don't want the point - so i'll show to court and if no luck there I'll do traffic school).
I'm relatively new to SoCal and was working late (it was dark) one Tuesday. Driving down PCH I was in the right lane and it turned into a turn rightturn only lane. I hate inconveniencing other drivers but no one would let me in the lane to the left of me (one that continued straight). I figured eh no biggy, i'll just turn right and do a u-turn to get back on track.
So i'm in the left lane going down the street and looking for a spot to do a U-Turn.. but i noticed at least 1-2 no U-Turn signs. So (two lanes each way) a third lane opened up on the left just before a turn opportunity (looked like a turn lane to me). There were no cars immediately coming the other direction, but I saw thought I saw another no U-Turn sign- but it sure wasn't a very well-lit area.
I was already there so I figured I'd do a left turn instead of u-turn, just pull in someone's driveway and get back on track. So I turn left and well my luck, a cop is waiting on that street facing the other way and just as i pass him he turns on his lights. I start doing my turn around maneuver because I thought he had his lights for someone else.
conversation went like this:
PD: Why didn't you stop when you saw the lights go on?
Me: (nervous) you were facing the other direction so I thought you were going after someone else.
PD: driver's license please.
-2 mins later-
PD: you know that's an illegal Left turn you just did?
Me: Sorry officer, no I thought it said no U-turn so I thought it was OK to do a left turn.
PD: The residents just had that sign put up so that people wouldn't come zooming through here to avoid traffic on PCH.
Me: Sorry again - I really thought it said no U-turn.
PD: (writes ticket) good night
and he goes back to the same spot where he was before :/

I want to know what you guys would do fight it in court or pay the ticket so if the cop does show in the court and I loose , my Insurance will go up and I still pay and I just got my insurance down too. So what would you do in this situation?
