i got pulled over last night dec 26..... i wasnt speeding.... i thought my exhaust was too loud.... but he said my blue 2004 sticker wasnt present on my license plate.... and i told him it came off cuz it did..... and he almost gave me a ticket for my tint and my exhaust...... but he let me go.......anyone have any cop stories???

 

ummmmm want the one where i got a ticket for 67 in a 65?

 

Irvine cops are too nice... If you were in Cerritos you would have had a fix-it ticket for your tint and your exhaust.... plus they might even start trying to feel how stiff your springs are and get you for that.

 

I was at a gas station in Hollywood securing some stuff in my trunk when LAPD parks in front of my car kinda blocking it. Anway, the driver comes over and low and behold....he compliments me on my RS . His partner on the other hand was inspecting the car and asking if there was a problem. "No problem here. I just wanted to check out his car. This is one of those imports that you don't see very often." We went on discussing how it performs. Unfortunately, not all of my cop experiences have been as nice. Sometimes you get lucky, and sometimes you don't.

 

Well on october 24 at 2:30 in the moring. I got popped in lbc on ocean blvd. CHP siad that he clocked me going 62 on a 45. Now how can I be going 62 on a 45 when there are hella lights on ocean and it seemed like I hit every single one. Anyway I just came from a bar, had a couple of drinks. And he gave me a DUI. When the tow truck came the stupid tow truck driver drove my car up the ramp of the truck like he was gonna launch it instead of just pulling it up. So now my license is suspended and I have only had my rex for like 3 months.

 

I myself was hit by a drunk driver. Fortunately, he's learned his lesson and ironically, we're now friends...sort of anyway. With all the "spirited driving" that we do, we really shouldn't drink and drive (not that anybody should do it either). Remember, driving is a privilege, not a right.

 

Just be safe for the holidays...if you do drink call a cab or friend.

yeah I know that I shouldn't have been driving after drinking. but c'mon after two drinks... really my BAC was .10 which is .02 higher than the legal limit. I know I learned my lesson for sure with all the fines and class and not being able to drive. It sure does suck. Anyhow stay out of long beach. To many people that I know have been getting popped there for DUI's.

 

hey guys last nite i just got pulled over in irvine for the same reason this is 2 times in 3 days..... no sticker.... the dmv sux ....i set an appointment and they sched no earlier than jan 23 !!!!....... arrghhhh!!!...... i hate the dmv.... but ya the cop let me go

 

anyone know the fastest way to get a blue 2004 sticker for my plate??

 

You don't need an appointment. Just walk in, fall in line, and wait. Depending on how busy your DMV may be, you could be there for a while. I've been there for as short as half an hour all the way up to 2 hours. Just make sure the one you're going to can provide the sticker.

 

thnx anyways i got my sticker today .... i was ther for almost 2 hrs haha...... i showed up before the dmv even opened..... ya i heard AAA works.... o well
