Questions

How did you make your decision with what brand top mount? Recommendation? Price? Flow? Bling? I have no clue on how to decide. I found a good deal on TurboXS that Im leaning towards but that APS looks sick.

ALso, is your exhaust a full 3"? My TBE w/highflow cat tapers to 2.5" at the axle back...not sure if that matters with an upgraded turbo.

Well I couldn't pass up a deal for a new APS top mount for $695. I would go with the Helix, APS, Hyperflow(I think it is the TurboXS). I'm guessing it flows well since they claim it is the biggest on the market. I really don't car about bling since I don't drive around with my hood up. Yes I have a full 3" APS exhaust dual tip. I had a high flow cat but I took it off for more performance which isn't to much since the APS high flow cat dosen't restrict to much. I got the down pipe section ceramic coated and also my up-pipe.

Im looking for a tq curve just like 04's. peak at 4000 and hold to redline.

Basiclly a good shove into the seat that doesnt fizzle out up top. Im not worried about lag (too much) and dont want to deal with a fmic

Did you want something similar to mine, cause that is why I went with the vf22. I met a guy a Gruppe-S that had a vf34 wagon that dynoed before me and he said he was making 235 to the wheels.

I want something "cost effective" and gets the most out of the 91 gas, vf34 is not worth the price tag imo. vf30 or 22 is the way to go in cali unless you run water/alky inj or 2.5 liter.

I just need to man up and make the purchases....thats the hardest part. Im already at 200whp....50hp for $2K is reaaalllly tough to justify

Do you have the cobb AP? It will only cost you 1300-1400 if you do it yourself. I'm down to help where do you live? Oh yeah I have tools if they are needed?
