dude get the JIC's much better in my opinion.

Get them from Kym or LNR. The reason why I recommend these 2 people is because they go to meets and you can talk to them or now where to find them since they are very active members on all the impreza boards. Don has the JIC set up on his car so he can take you for a ride(seeing is believing right). And Kym can talk to you about it while eating some cabbage.

If you want REALLY cheap, buy someones old stock shocks. If you only have a little money, decide what you are going to use the car for and buy a "good" set of that type or you will be buying and changing forever.

As far as one type covers it all, expect to pay a lot or compromise a lot. A lot means $2000 or more and there are many "great" options here. JIC, Tein, DMS, Ohlin, Koni, etc are just a few and it seems there are more all the time. If you just want "poser" struts (just street then the Progress, AGX, ... are good. Flame suit on!
