3.you are truly an idiot.
4. we are talking about how d1 is or isnt racing and you bring this crap to a debate? wtf?! talk about staying on topic

Keichi "Drift King" Tsuchiya In '84 Tsuchiya wins the Fuji Freshman racing series 6 races in a row. His tail slide corning style earned him the "Drift King" name. The once notorious touge street racer who had his racing license suspended at one time eventually expands his career internationally and wins the GT-2 class in '85 at Le Mans 24 hrs. Since 2000 Tsuchiya has competed in the JGTC 500 series with the ARTA NSX. He is one of the founders and also a judge for the D-1 Grand Prix drifting competition.
so with YOUR explanation, either Tsuchiya was really lucky to win 6 races in a row or the other racers was just shiet. In any case "drift" was used during racing competition.

i am saying that with 100% grip you will wear your tires down as opposed to using some drift.
drifting like d1 is the overexageration of "slide"

since when do they use a judge in racing?
if his drifting is soooooo awsome why didnt he ever make into F1?
we have sato now and he doesnt drift.
and if you know your crap on JGTC he had a great mentor helping him out alot
you switch drivers on top of that
