yea my asus mobo realtek supports 8.1 surround with native DTS
im using a m-audio interface for recording so its not so much an issue for me
the fatality is a great card for gaming though

this is just the apple nerd in me but all of those pc case look cluttered and cramped and cheap, there is nothing like the engineering and layout of a mac pro. http://www.apple.com/macpro/design.html#expansion
but that is just my biased opinion. the high price of the apple mac aside you gotta admit the layout and the look inside one is just sex.

this is pretty clean for pc setup

most pc look clutter because people don't usually brother with tucking the wires and making it look nice.
