I might give uverse a try if they had the service in my area. They sell me on the elite DSL 6mb blah blah blah for 45 bucks. So i get a call today saying oh hey.. about that elite...yea...we can't get you that speed but we can get you 1.5 to your place for the price of 35 bucks! I then said "umm your website offers that service for 19.99. WTF?! *silence* "yea.. ok I'm going to have to cancel my order all together." Here i thought i would be free from comcrapstic clutches..
ARGH But at least i get internets this sunday. I'm currently on my sprint wireless card. It's not too bad with EVDO.

dude dude dude, did you know fiber will separate you from the rest of the network so no one can hack into your interweb? i can't stress that enough, cuz any body can come by with a laptop and sit on your street then hack into your interweb to download pr0n.
that was the selling point highlight, after that i just had to get uverse cuz i didn't want anyone to download pr0n for free!
the door to door salesmen are jokes -_- cuz...
1. you can get better deals from signing up online, if people were smart enough
2. use friend dicount like i did and get same discount as online almost and get your friend points

ya. the only problem with fiberoptic networks is actually laying down the cabling, which a couple of communities oppose... So they are stuck complaining about Time-Warner and Comcast.
