yea they shut down 80 and we were stuck in colfax for 1.5hrs...
NO CARS we allowed.. even 4x4/awd mud/snow chains/no chains
then once it reopened there was manditory chain control unless 4x4/awd
i would say about 20 mins after that they shut the freeway down again cuz of teh whiteout.. but we were already on and kept going. There were only about 8 other trucks, i was teh only car on the road
norm takes 1.5 hrs from here to my cabin.. took 4hrs including the stop. 30mph almost the whole time
