I needed some relaxation and went to the beach after work the other night. Here's a few pics. Please feel free to leave some coments & criticism... Anyone else here into photography?

nice pictures what camera do you use?

not like i know much about cameras, but i'll ask anyway.

 

It's just an old olympus 3.2 megapixel... but it's got 10x optical zoom! I want to go with a digital SLR tho...

 

this picture is really bright!

 

Photoshop is your friend but may I suggest avoiding the cheesy filters (border). I'm no artist but I used to date one and she and all her friends would always rag on people who used the built in PS filters. Good shots though.

 

Thanks! It's Long Beach Grand Prix time this weekend... I'm gonna try to experiment more with the manual settings on this cam, and try to get better results...

I'm looking into a Canon Rebel XT... since the new XTi came out, the price is dropping on the XT. Probably sometime in the next couple months.

 

go for the XTi, I did, and I'm lovin' the extra 2mpz!!!!

 

Really? The 2mpz really are worth it? I'm thinking I'll do some printing later on, but probably never bigger than 8 x 10... or maybe 16 x 20.

 

it is to me, and plus, I've seen some shots from the XTi, and the XT, and I'm not sure about the differences in the two, but the XTi shots look better, it was from a guy who has had both, and he was showing me some pics, and I told him that certain ones looked better than others, and he was like, yeah...those are with my XTi.

I dunno...I love this freakin camera.

 

Went to another carshow, and here's some pics from it... also, it was in Seal Beach, so I took a few more beach shots. This time I did a little more cropping/editing to liven things up a bit... Comments/criticism totally encouraged...
