Angry I Hate Nails! (part 3)

I was mad when I got a nail in the sidewall of my old bald tire.

I was even more mad when I got a nails in 2 of the other tires 2 weeks later.

Well, now I'm pissed because I have 2 nails in my right rear, and one nail in the left rear with my new tires.

don't ever drive infront of Just Tires, Discount Tires, or any tire stations they toss nails out on the street to get you on flat repairs @ 15 bucks each tire. If your lucky you can't repair your tire and your stuck buying a new set of Fusion ZRi tires....

nope. one of the heads broke off on one, but the other 2 look like the same nails. and they were only on the rear tires. Maybe someone hates me.

Last time, when I worked there, America's Tire Co. did repairs for free. They used to charge, but I think their policy changed back to free.

And yes, even if you do not buy tires from them.

Patched from inside the tire, similar to:

America's Tire Co. has a pretty strict policy on plugs. They will not touch a tire probably 99% of the time if it was plugged at a gas station prior to taking it to America's Tire Co. Out of the slightly over a year I worked there, we had plenty of plugs and rejections of patching, but only was patched because it was plugged a block away... why they got it plugged a block away, I have no idea.

just curious... when was that? the policy was to charge when i went a few months ago, but they did it for free for me that one time. i have not purchased any tires from them.

last weekend they unmounted 6 tires and mounted 4 tires, but only charged for mounting/balancing 4. total: $44.

that was thanks to previous tire purchases by soggy.

Those patches are expenisve... that became standard issue for pepboys in 2000. thats when they went from 8.50 to patch a tire up to 20 bucks to patch a tire.

They call that the "plug patch"... heheheheheh... Prug and Pray

Well, I had one tire patched with the 2 nails and the other tire had a nail too close to the sidewall so it had to be plugged.
