I bought a 7D body what next?
i know absolutely nothing about cameras but this might or might not be usefull

Surprised nobody mentioned the 50mm/1.4 - prime lens, but gorgeous bouquet and amazing for portraits. Also really, really well priced.
10-22 is really a must have for a lot of landscapes/outdoors or any cramped space. Great for car interior shots.
I think that's as wide as you can go without getting barrel distortion.

since you have a FF (full frame) camera you need to buy lenses that are compatible with it. i would recommend getting
16-35L or 17-40L - good wide angle lens
24-70L - 24-105L - good all around lens
