Dromo is getting kinda expensive. I was in Vancouver Wa, and went to a kart place where Juan Montoya trained at, and the facility was better than dromo, and cost only 14 bucks! And this was Friday! And get this if you win your race, you get to race again!

Yeah, its sucks that the priced got jacked even more. And did you notice that the reduced the number of laps/time that each race runs. Oh well, only decent place to go around here.

I was going to an outdoor place last year. They ran 125cc 2 strokes, w/ 6sp shifter ( ie. shifter karts). It was at a Las Vegas Kart Track, way off the strip. Its called X-Ples now. Well, in the spring it was like $75/hr to run, no timing or anything just laps. It was great. I came back in July with a buddy, and they wanted $150/hr, but get this you needed to prove to them you could drive by spending $75/hr to run one of their 4 stroke carts. My buddy was pissed. I ended up running a 125cc shifter kart @ $95/hr for an 1 hour (only cuz I *****ed that I drove all that way to get jacked) while he ran an half and half of the 4 and stroke machines. I was so happy to finally find something to do while I visit my parents in Vegas, but alas, I still don't have anything to do ( I don't gamble much) .

So we are back to Dromo. We have resorted to playing hookie from work and going on a week day afternoon. I haven't been in a few months because I have been too busy here at work.

now I am getting that itch all over again...
