depends on the car and track, gave my n00b a fast car and he kept spinning out on turns.....and I'm like wtf dude?

he's at lvl 9 right now, thinking of having him redo races again and lvl up to atleast lvl 15. Hopefully by then, he won't be stupid any more

 

hmmm that's strange...My Bspec driver is level 8 and I started him off with uber slow cars no mods. He didn't win his first few races, highest placing 2nd but usually third. After level 3 he was winning pretty much anything. Now he's driving the Veyron with no issues.

Don't give your bspec driver a fast car to learn with. What would happen in real life if you learn in a fast car? You'll prolly crash and burn

 

you got to mash the pace down button

 

started him off with my normal stock cars

the pace button is now a whip that I use on him. He'll get into 1st and then start slowing down and letting them other cars catch up and usually bump him out of the way. It's rare for the AI to pass my guy clean, they almost always just bump him out of the way

 

my driver lvl 6 was is able to cleanly pass people even on slow down or keep pace of course he has some little extra power haha

last night I noticed that my b-spec driver likes to drift the rwd cars. In a race on Tsukuba, he drifted the car to the finish line

 

Yeah I hit the level where I can have two drivers.
