something about IT people blocking sites on IE, but not through firefox or safari. if they got firefox already, safari is even less commonly used.

i could be wrong, though. :l

hRm... never heard of that one o.O. well i guess if the IT person is just using AD to block instead of using the FIREWALL.

Depending on what software you use. If they are being lame and using proxy settings on IE to point to their blocking service which could easily be bypassed by anyone who knows where to go. I use websense and works well in blocking anything not permitted regardless of browser. Always think 3 steps ahead of the typical user.
