i'm not familiar with those programs, but i wouldn't be surprised if they had it. for fun: i guess eating good food, skiiing/snowboarding, and visiting onsens are popular?

the white lover is a favorite omiyage from there

their dairy products and seafood in general are supposed to be excellent. in hakodate, their main export is squid and they have squid somen. there are a lot of dairy farms w/ roadside ice cream shops made from fresh milk. sooOoo good! as far as ramen, hakodate is known for their shio-ramen, sapporo for their miso-ramen, and asahikawa for their shoyu-ramen. i think... i know hakodate is shio.

ooohhh and i can't forget the genghis khan! pretty much a lamb meat bbq!

the huge crab is also from hokkaido.

i'm getting hungry...
