2 days in tokyo, 8 days in hakodate and sapporo.

that's where my family is from.

i've explored all around that island, but i haven't seen too much of honshuu. and none of shikoku, kyuushuu, or okinawa.

What's fun to do up in hokkaido? i heard that they have "family-stay" programs up there where you stay with a family and you get great organic food from them in exchange for money. My description might be a bit vague. Also, any great specialties food there? Like Osaka's Takoyaki and okonomiyaki?
