Dude.. a guy in a banana costume douses himself with rubbing alcohol and sets himself on fighter with a lighter. His face gets pretty burned and he's in a lot of pain. I hate watching this kind of stuff... makes my own face hurt.

Hmm.. not willing to pay the premium for black, but you have extra RAM already!

I just ordered an extra gig myself. I can't justify buying TWO gigs.. 1.25 is good enough for now. Maybe when my bonus comes

By the way, congrats! And welcome to the Apple family.

i'm interested on getting one.. or wait for the second gen of mac book pro
The dual boot is cool. I haven't had many problems but I have had a few crashes when running XP, I'm sure the realease version of bootcamp will be more stable. And yea, I would wait for the second gen. I only got a first gen because we're part of the Apple Developer Network so we get the machines for free for testing.

I buy computer junk and video games, thats why i have no real mods on my car.
200 dollars for hardware seems more "real" than 200 dollars for color.

Just depends on how much you want the premium option. I can't stand white. Makes me puke.

2G of RAM is more than I need for the MacBook, at least for now. Once I find the time to do more photo editing or work with Garage Band, I'll pick up another gig.

Are you using iChat AV yet?

Anybody else here an Mac person? I know Seri is.. she even has an iSight. We can all iChat AV, yay.

My brother's been playing around with Garage Band... He says it's much better working on the MacBook than the PowerBook, which makes sense. I'm going to install BootCamp this weekend or the next. If you beat me to it, let me know the install went.

Me too.

I used to be strictly a PC guy. Once I started this job, about 2 years ago, I had to work on Macs. All the software we develop is for graphic designers so our main market is the Mac market. At first I hated it but now I don't think I'll buy another PC ever again, since the Intel Macs can be dual boot. Also with Parallels ( http://www.parallels.com/en/products/workstation/mac/ ) you can run Windows with OS X. It's a lot like Virtual PC but is much faster because it's not simply a translator.

Agreed. I built my last PC, but eventually when that dies, I may just get a PowerMac for a desktop.

By the way, nice username, Eddie.
