with the added price of a prius, it will take approx 3 years to make up the difference in savings. enjoy buying a new electrical motor after 100k miles

I would've throw in the distance too if it fits in one line.. i guess i should've create more options. ^_^

Swap current prius gas engine with a SR20DET? Wait nah... Turbo lag might be too great to switch back and forth from gas to electric..

speaking seriously....(nasioc voice)

you bought a performance vehicle not to baby and stay light on the throttle, and looking to get good mpg

you bought a a perfomance vehicle to drive fast. Sounds stupid to me when people b1tch about gas prices, insurance, chp fix it tickets. you bought the car knowing damn well you have to run at least 91 octane, its a turbo AWD vehicle, and with the amount of parts everyone is making for it, of course you'll get pulled over.

ok now that I said that....

Why do you think I drive to Life Plaza for? I only drive city streets in Torrance. I can get on the freeway and go fast... (for a couple of seconds) I'd really rather waste gas flying on the freeway than wasting gas doing stop and gos...

next part.. you mean sasquatch?

Tim

EDIT - actually the freeway on ramp is the most fun!

Word. I went out with a guy who only boosted once a day. He always shifted at 3900, right before the turbo starts to spool. He even cruised on the freeway at 72 1/2 miles (about 3900rpm). To top it all off, he had gauges, so you can actually see the needle go up and down VACUUM all day. That really kind of annoyed me.

His "thrill" for the day was revving past 4000.

John that's weaksauce. You're an architect, you own an STI drive the car hard, you should have enough money to play. if you're only gonna baby your car, go sell it to some kid like Jorge so he can crash it into the side of a mountain after playing or watching Initial D or BMI or Hot Version

Real? I have an iaitou at home. I can have it sharpened and made into a real sword if you want me to.
