Will a car that runs on 91 run ok on a lower octane? The car won't preform as it would do if it was running on 91, but what would long term affects be. If you kept putting in the lower octane gas?

the car is supposed to adjust to the lower octane by pulling timing but why would u risk it? you will get better mpg running 91 vs 87.
