i have the same set up, its sorta big. T.v. is like 170lbs.. but the stand can go into a corner, or flat up against the wall. If your going to put it in your living room, i doubt you will have a problem, but if its for your room, i think you might have to clear out some room.. your bed and your desk takes up too much space for it...

anyway, i dunno if your exsisting entertainment center will hold that TV... If you think about it, if he were to agree to 350, you'd basically get that tv stand for free.. So you can decide to toss it, utilize it, or whatever..

Here is the approx measurements to the tv (the stand wouldn't be much bigger than the tv itself)
