change your driving habbit
Its also preference too I think, if you want a sporty car, it will run on 91, if you want an eco box, you'll get an eco box that runs on 87

So does Jerry have 4000-6000 to cover the 40% down payment?
If so I can swing him a good deal at the Honda dealer down the street since they are liquidating 08s, but the offer is only good till the end of this month I think.

I think, If they offer 5 year you should take 5 years.
Whether you pay the car off in 1 year, 2 years or 3 years that's your own decision.
But there's nothing to loose on taking the longest term possible on 0% interest.

When I got my Legacy, I needed a car ASAP. I had no money to really put down. Even if I put 10%, it would only knock off 50 bucks off my payment. I ended up doing zero down with a 460 monthly.
No complaints what so ever and even if I am upside down, it doesn't matter, debt is the American way hence our economy.
I do agree with Mike too, depreciation is a constant, no matter how much you put down, it will not improve the value either.
