Came from up north to visit disneyland with my best friend and his two kids...well our wives are here too. What a drive. This I-5 Santa Ana thing is rediculous...

Anyways, any cool spots to grab beers not at downtown Disney that are close by, or is the beer and walk the best thing since we are just across the street?

Anyone working at the magical kingdom? Any hints tricks etc. we will be here through Friday...

They sell beer at Disney California. It's behind the ferris wheel. Also, they have drinks at the cone stands at car's land where they can add shots of vodka.

If you can, grab some reservations at Carthay at Disney California, they have great food and alcohol.

Grab your fast pass for Radiator Springs Racers first thing when the park opens (there is a separate lines to get the fast pass, just outside of bugs land). They will "sell out" within the first 30/45 minutes of park opening. You can also get another fast pass while holding onto that one, so you can do Tower of Terror, Soarin' over California, Screamin', Grizzly River Run (although its super cold, lol).

Also, grab reservations to nicer restaurants ASAP, they book up very fast. Some of my favorites are Blue Bayou, Plaza Inn, Steakhouse 55 in the Disneyland Hotel, Goofy's Kitchen Breakfast Buffet also in Disneyland Hotel (great for kids, characters walk around).

Lastly, if you plan on buying a lot of gifts, lots of stores have an option that lets you leave your merchandise with the store or at a separate location so you don't have to carry it around all day. I try to do my shopping in the morning, because it gets crazy busy at night.

If you want to watch it regularly with good seats, wait for the first showing at 9 to be over, then hop in for the 10:15 show. Some people camp out 3+ hours before the show even starts >.<
