sory if I'm gettin ya in trouble, sigma

While I'm buisy spilling beans about "secret" back roads:

I've never been to Temecula, but, looking at a map, I'd guess that the "dirt road paradise" in question has to do with

Red Mountain Rd.
Stanley Rd.
Reed Valley Rd.

and perhaps Bautista Canyon Rd.

Ammiright?
Doiwinaprize?

thanks for those tips...if I do miss you, let me know how it goes..I'll try and check it out.

Not too worried about cosmetics...I think my car is only painted by touch up paint at this point. Ill have to fashion up a hardware store grill for the front mount, too, but I've been meaning to do that anyways.

Stock height right now, but Sti susp. going on soon (not much lower tho), and I definitely will have to find a set of stockers with some awesome hard-core offroad RE-92's

yeah i dont know...i think if you have stock body work (no crazy lips or anything), you'll pretty much be ok...unless you're just slammed.

It totally depends on the road.

Nicely graded gravel: no problem for a lowered car with 17s...

You'd want to be at least stock height out here, though...

Oh, wait, you mean "winch"...
I don't have a winch, but I do travel with a come-along (basicly a manual winch) and some other tools (shovel, sledge, spike) for gettin' out of trouble.

Havn't needed 'em yet, though

You'd be surprised how fast "wide and well graded" can turn into "narrow and ugly". You don't always know what you're in for when you set out...
