check engine light is on

my check engine light is on i guess cuz i have no cats on my 05 wrx is there any way to turn it off?

Don't disconnect your batter too many times though as it will shorten the life of your ECU.

Yeah, do the resistor cel fix mod, or upgrade your ecu... like sigma pi said. Disconnecting your battery is a temporary fix, but the cel will eventually come back.
