Will a carbon fiber trunk or hood boil up in the heat? I live in Riverside and it gets too freakin hot down here in the summer. 100+ everyday. I'm going to be parking in a garage at night, but during the day, I have to park under the sun during class and work. Anyone have problems with their carbon fiber stuff getting messed up in the sun? What can I do to prevent this?
As long as the hood or truck is in closed position, it'll be fine.
Just dont prop your trunk/hood open in the heat for too long, or else it'll start to warp.
HOw do i know? I used to have a c/f hood, went to an install meet, propped my hood open with the factory holder, went to close the hood 2 hrs later... it was warping to one side. It still closed fine tho.
