will that rubbing compound take paint off of rims or is that good with rims too? to clean the rim entirely..

just want to get an idea of out to clean the inner side of the rim.. where the build up can't be scrubbed off with car wash soap..

depends on how deep the scratch is. i have a scratch on my lower rear bumper. i used the 3m fine cut rubbing compound to even out the ridges and polish out the scratch. the scratch is still there but not as noticable

water spots on mirrors should come out with glass cleaner, Are you sure they're water spots??
