Tip 1
Sheeting Action
Before drying off, run a slow flooding flow of water over all surfaces of the car. This will encourage a sheeting action, pulling more water off the paint as the flow passes


Tip 2
If you drop the clay bar throw it away—period. This is why it’s smart to use a section of the clay bar while working, not all of it at once

 

What is best to use to get out old water spots?

 

try claybar
if the stain is real bad.. and baked on
try some 3M fine cut rubbing compound.

 

HAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHA i just got done doing all this 3.5 hours

 

I use the following stuff and it works for me. The Galco stuff is for the front windshield. when you are driving in the rain... the water "slide" to the side when you are driving like 30mph+ or something... I don't actually really need to use my wiper if I don't want to. Don't do it to your side window though, it make this funny noise when you roll your window. Apply it when your window is completely dry. I don't think I am doing everything right though, cause I leave streaks on my window.

I use mother clay before and I found this one.

The Z compond is for cleaning your window...

The mirror thing I haven't actually use it yet. it come with cool sticker...

All these stuff can be found inside a giftshop inside the south coast mitsuwa plaza. (no, I don't work for them). That place use to be in j-town but it was closed... I just happen to find it couple of weeks ago. =)

P.S. Where do you guy buy the meguiar gold class soap? I can't seem to find them.

 

The mirror thing suppose to make your rearview mirror free of water. The thing next to the glaco stuff is the clay bar. Don't ask me for refund if you don't like these products!! haha.

 

go to any pepboy they will carry the gold class soap..
or i think i bought my at costco.

the mr clean auto dry is good.. it's easy for dispensing soap..
it does filter out some mineral from the water to reduce water spots..
but if you are looking for completely hand free wash...that's not really possible unless you have a house water purify / softener.
I use the Mr clean alot... i like it... and it's not expensive.
