The car thread

This is great info..

I've got a couple

Is there anyway to get rid of that "Ticking" sound my engine makes when its on?
Also, my right rear wheel area (well, at least thats what it sounds like to me) at low speeds, i mean like a crawl, as the wheel rotates I hear, *clunk, clunk* -pause- then as the tire rotates more *clunk, clunk*.. and will do that until i pick up speed, which at that point im sure the reason i can't hear it is because of the sound of the tires, exhaust, etc..

Mucho thanks in advance..

rockers are out of spec on the motor (nothing to worry about, happens to all boxer motors), this typically happens at around 35k on mileage.

teh clunk cluck noise? check to see if the rear steel braided brake lines are rubbing against your wheels.

you can't hear it unless radio is off and your like rolling in a parking lot, my exhaust and road noise cancels it out

the engine clicks or the drive component clicks or the transmission click?
i mean those are all totally different things.
You gotta figure out what is making the noise first.
