Hey, posted this to the Bay Area guys, and the Evo guys on evolutionm.net....

Any of you socal folks have any interest getting together up at bass lake (near yosemite) ??


Would any of you be interested in driving to Bass Lake / Yosemite for a very unorganized, informal get together? A few Evo guys, Lancer guys, hopefully a few of you all and some RS's.. whatever. Just some people who like cars and more importantly, LIKE DRIVING on some great mountain roads.

Bass Lake is about 15 miles from Yosemite, off hwy 41. About 3 hrs from SF. 3hrs from SAC. Great little lake in the mountains. Would be great chance to take the Girlfriend or Wife (or both) for one last weekend trip, get some R&R, check out Yosemite, BBQ at Bass Lake, and just have fun driving. Some great roads up there.

Was playing with the idea of OCT 25?? Noonish? Bas Lake? Bring your own food and snacks and utensils. I would supply sodas and make sure we have a couple BBQ grills going...

This is all just an idea now..... BUT WOULD ANY OF YOU BE INTERESTED? WOULD YOU MAKE THE DRIVE? There are campgrounds or hotels all around there... from cheap motel to posh resort (and I real nice Casino about 15 minutes away).....

The roads up there are great.. seems like would be a fun place to take your cars if you have the time.. get out and run em' on some backroads and see some nice scenery.
