including the 4pot/2pot brake ... i wanan go look for a 4 pot that say nissan on it..

 

a filter is a filter. It filters oil so it keeps it as clean as it can be so that particulates don't get into the engine components and to help it run as smooth as it possible.

I'd think a larger filter would generally go into a larger disp car since there is more oil to clean. You don't want the oil filter to stop working after 2000miles, otherwise it would get really expensive.. It can depend on other things, like oil flow rates, placement, etc...
