Region code hack posted by Wigan Guy, December 02 2004:
This unit available from Asda is the same as it's US counterpart the ILO DVR04 which is available from Walmart

The region hack is:

Power on the recorder

press SETUP

scroll down to EXIT

press 2 9 6 0

press ENTER

the region code will then appear

scroll sideways onto the region code and the list of all the available regions appears (region free and 1 thro 6)

select the one you want and press ENTER...and thats it

works fine tested with a Lizzie McGuire DVD region 1
