I always drive fast. I just don't like going crazy when we are in caravan.

A couple years ago I got a 90 in a 70 on the 101 near Monterey and they didn't let me take traffic school.

Thank god for my V1 when I drove up to SF last month.

thats alright man, i finally got my first ticket after 5 yrs. i got it on a sunday at 10am on the 5 south. Who knew there was a 55 zone on the 5??? i was going 75, which was a little faster than everyone else, they were going about 70...the officer didint give me crap about my car..and let me go on a verbal warning on the speeding..and decided to give me a following too close citation.

How much is following closely one costs? The 55 zone? Is it the one you go down after passing pyramid lake? Or is the the part near download LA (if there is one)?

sorry to hear that louis. 200 miles would be around kettleman city?

you can try calling the court and ask the clerk for a reduction in fine. just tell them you're sorry and you were wrong, but you can't afford it. unless you plan to fight it. good luck!

how was norcal?

Good deal, I am going to call and see if I can get traffic school instead because my insurance will add up if I get all these points in my dmv record =( Nocal is fun. I went to Santana row and saw all these expensive cars... Anyway, how's the party on sat?
