Hi guys,

I need a 60k service on my WRX... I've been out of the loop of the Subaru community so I don't know what the "best" shops are around here. I did a search already - and it seems that people like Suby Specialities but those guys are a bit far away. I live in Laguna Niguel and wouldn't mind driving 30-40 mins away to get it done right. Would Aerosim be good choice, if they're still around? Thanks!

 

+1 for suby specialties. and last i heard about aerosim, they were closing shop i believe?

last time i called suby specialities about a month ago, they said earliest appointments were in 2 weeks -_-

im goin to do my own 30k service at my friends shop. sorry to hijack this thread, cuz i dont wanna start another one... if i go to krakens, what will i need to buy for a 30k service??

this is what i have so far.. oil filter and air intake filter.

goin to need trans fluid, brake fluid, synthetic oil, diff fluid(front and rear??), fuel filter....
one problem though, i dont know WHICH ONES TO GET.. if anyone can recommend exact brands and exact model #, would be much appreciated

so yeah uh, the consensus is for me to drive over an hour to monrovia (suby specialities) for a 60k service?

 

you can go to long beach and have me yell at you and supervise on how you are suppose to do it and you can learn how to do it

you have to take your waste and my waste with you though hehe

that does sound like the best thing to do.

 

well i did my 30k myself - it was a little more trouble than i'd hoped. (gear bolt was shut absolutely solid, nearly impossible to get off). plus these days i dont have the luxury of time to spend a whole day on my car!

and i should also add your the King when it comes to muffler installs
