Systems Security Engineer, Senior

Key Role:
Function as a senior systems security engineer in support of service oriented architecture development activities with an emphasis on systems engineering and integration. Lead the development and integration of the IA architecture design in support of SOA system development. Complete requirements analysis, risk analysis, cost trades, performance, reliability, and security impact analysis to determine the appropriate IA products, systems, and policies for the target system. Apply knowledge of C&A of MLS and MSL architectures using DCID 6/3 and the DIACAP. Interact directly with clients at numerous levels for technical guidance and support.

Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience with systems and program protection required
-Experience with DCID 6/3 AND DICAP systems and processes required
-Experience in working with Federal DoD Security Architecture, Policy, and Engineering
-Experience with SOA, MLS, and MSL
-Knowledge of DoD Instructions 5200.40, 8500.1, and 8500.2 required
-Knowledge of cryptographic fundamentals
-Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and system and host security
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree required
-CISSP required

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience as a senior security architect or engineer responsible for identifying and quickly resolving issues on complex programs
-Experience with satellite communication systems, C4I, and tactical systems preferred
-Knowledge of systems engineering processes, including requirements analysis, interface definition, and detailed implementation planning
-Knowledge of IA in a DoD acquisitions environment preferred
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
