$175 for 2002 wrx frt windshield replaced
the glass doesn't look distorted. It hasn't blown out at speed. Work was done w/in an hour. "Life time warranty on work performed". The number is 909-785-9955. It's near the 15 & 91 freeway (Corona/Riverside). Until the first car wash or rain, I won't know if it leaks (cross my fingers).
It seems they also have pretty good prices on other cars also.
cheers....BlueMax

lower price...
That is a pretty good price, is the new windshield any different from the oem? Do they come to you (i prefer to have it done while @ work in city of industry)?
i recently got a quote for about $150 at some place in place in city of industry. Great price but the person i talked to on the phone was speakin some sort of spanglish. I also got another quote from this place in covina for $211, the spoke perfectly understandable professional english. Hmm, i wonder if they'll match prices.
I'll post the details later for the place that does the window for $150, just in case anybody wants to know.

sorta late, but...I got my windshield done at that exact place near the 91 and 15 off Pierce and I hate my windshield. First of all, they never put the plastic flap under the wipers in the right way, even after 3 visits. Then, the plastic lining on the roof near the door seems to be too far off. They said my car came like that, but it is not like any other WRX I have seen. Of course, there were the air leaks after 30mph. After the second visit for the air leaks, they just put a massive amount of black adhesive all over the inside of the windshield getting permanent marks on my a-pillars and looking quite ugly because it was not even nor scraped clean. There is a slight distortion around the edges where the glass curves. The glass chips very easily. My windshield under the sun looks like permanent mist. BUT...Its was only $170. Motor Trend broke their windshield when they tested the car and the dealer charges $600+. There are no bugs in my teeth, but be warned.
