Are you suppose to change it every 15k or 30k? Or how about when you go off roading in the dirt from time to time.

 

I just change mine everytime I change my oil. Although I know that's not the "correct" change interval.

For me the rule of thumb is 15k miles.

But recently after about 12k miles the thing was looking filthy so I changed it.
FYI, I did notice a difference in performance and turbo response afterwards.

 

i'll take every other filter.



oil change is supposed to be done around 3k mile



air filters are supposed to be changed every 15k.

 

The maintenance booklet that came with my car recommends you change it every 30k but I still check it at every oil change after 15k.

I change mines when it is dirty. Intervals are only a baseline to go by, but nothing beats inspection with your own personal time.

 

I'll have to let you know when I do my next oil change, becasue I just recently did it and I tossed the filter out so you are gonna have to wait till I drive another 2K miles for me to have another filter.
