CEL fix question....

I will be installing a Greddy EVO2 CBE and Helix UP/DP (all catless). I know that there are two O2 sensors (one in the UP and one in the DP). Will I need CEL fixes for both in order to avoid CELs for no cats? Also, will the O2 sensors still be installed in the provided bungs on the new system? Please help! Thanks!

you only need a cel fix for the rear o2 sensor. the front o2 sensor is installed in the exhaust manifold before any cats. you may need a cel fix for the egt probe though.
as for the rear o2 sensor fix, there's electronic and there's mechanical. i'm running the mechanical fix and it works great. basically, get a 2 pack of 18mm spark plug non foulers and drill out to 1/2 inches. install the o2 sensor in that one. screw that into the non fouler that you didn't modify. screw the whole thing into the sensor bung on your downpipe and you're good to go. this gives you enough difference in readings between the two sensors to not trigger a cel.

Is there a "EGT probe fix"? Would one realy be necessary? I just want to make sure that I can drive the car daily with no dumb-*** CELs (that aren't warranted... for a valid malfunction).

the egt fix is a 22k ohm 1/2 watt resistor across the two wires of the cat over temp sensor from the up pipe. if you leave the sensor out it wil throw a check eng light
mechanical fix:
this in my opinion is preferred. no wire splicing so less confusion.

i think i have instructions on page 2 or 3. no pics though. sorry. very quick.

Also the egt shouldn't be an issue unless your running higher boost in which egt temps could cuase sensor meltdown. The helix should plug right in and cuase no cels. If you do not want to worry about it simply use the for mentioned resister fix.
