yea do search, but i wouldnt get a new intake, just take out the intake silencer and maybe get a new filter like a K&N or Perrin and you will get the same performance.

..... you're lucky I found this thead.........
Just know this: 1.) the stock intake is the best unless you're running a front mount intercooler, an new turbo, or over 300 horsepower. 2.) It's best to run a search of the boards before asking a question, in case this question has already been answered many, many, many, many times.

Welcome to i-Club. Your message thread has been moved to the appropriate Performance Forum. There is a 'sticky' thread at the top of the WRX Powerplant forum concerning intakes on a WRX/STi. Good information.

EDIT: A post in the Engine Management forum with links to additional information on the subject of intakes.

bottom line is that intakes dont to much for our cars. some of the general performance guidelines that one would follow with other types of cars do not apply to the WRX. Its a different beast. As Wingless Wonder stated, check out the "Sticky" at the top of this forum and you'll understand why they are not worth it.

Welcome to the Club
