Here's your first look (at least it's mine!) at the TurboXS Tuner unit!

I believe it has been said that the system should work perfectly fine without a UTEC, but there would be additional benefits of using it in concert with the EM.

I'll tell you guys what we told our dealers. If we are lucky we'll have a small supply of these by Christmas. With the way AUS shuts down around the end of the year, that supply will be pretty small.
Look for significant numbers around the first of the year.
Target retail price is still $699. We know this is on the expensive side for WB o2 loggers, but this is much, much more then just a WB02 kit.
2-way communication with the UTEC happens via the serial cable on the back of the unit. You can plug your laptop into the front of the TXS Tuna to access both units.
It uses the Bosch WB sensor, a Bosch knock sensor, and has 4 additional 5-volt inputs (note these are native to the Tuna, not the UTEC). It has a 5-volt output so you can use the WB logging with a dyno or another ecu. It has an audio out for the knock sensor. It also has a display output that currently uses a Nintendo Gameboy. The idea is to allow you to use the Gameboy as a display/tuning device when plugged into this product. Everyone that had a chance to look at the display unit thought it was very cool. In fact I was pretty amazed at the quality of the Gameboy’s display. Clearly Nintendo doesn’t push it to the limit with their games.
Expect the Gameboy display to be ready sometime in the first quarter of next year.
