Tapping sound coming from rear struts?
So I just installed some kyb-agx struts and Cobb springs on my 02 Wrx. But when the road gets bumpy there's like a tapping sound coming from the rear. It sounds like it's coming from the top hat area. I double checked and everything is tight on top. You guys have any ideas what the problem might be
deffenite Tapping or possibly clicking? If its tapping then i would look for coil bind
(wear/dulling of the paint between coils is the easiest way to tell)
then look at your sway bar. It angle changed when you lowered the car so there could be a bind or interferece.
If its clicking then i would suspect a worn CV axle. and the change of ride height/CV angle could have triggered it to wear more rapidly.

I had the same issue, there are spacers I bought and they fixed the problem. Here is the link: http://turninconcepts.com/product_in...roducts_id=234
