I know there are a lot of subie drives in modesto, stockton, fresno, etc. I think we should have our own forum because sacramento/bay area and socal are too far away for any central cali member to have meets and get to know other subie owners in their area.

This would be cool. I live in Bakersfield and the only time I go out is with my friends and they drive Hondas so I get no love. Is there a lot of Cen Cal guys on I-Club?
What up guys. I would like to find some subie owners in the central valley to go on drives with etc. I run at autocross in Merced, Castle Air force base, but never see the same people out on the streets. It's like they all hide after track day. I have a yellow 03 wrx with several mods, and love it. I am actually trying to get together a drive of significant length next summer. I would love to have at least 15-20 cars of all different mods, and horse powers. Maybe from cali. to neveda to arizona, S. Dakota/N. Dakota, and Idaho. Hit Yellow Stone and other sites of significance etc. This would be awesome. Well it's just an idea.

At this time, I don't see enough current member activity to warrant a separate Central Valley regional forum. It's not merely a matter of the number of active members but also how many events like BBQs, autocrosses, and general meets, have been posted in the Sacramento/Reno Meets forum. Also, the Central Valley stretches from near Redding in the north to past Bakersfield in the south - that's over 400 linear miles.
As for the Sacramento/Reno forum being too remote to benefit other Central Valley members, the BAIC regional forum covers from the north Bay Area (Marin, Napa, Solano counties) to the East Bay (Alameda, Contra Costa counties) and the south Bay down to Monterey.
For the time being, the northern Valley cities of Stockton, Modesto, and Lodi (and others) can continue to use the Sacramento/Reno regional forum. This could change in the future if the need warrants creation of a new regional forum but the need comes first before the forum.
